# Birds of a feather sessions for 5th PDW/PSIDA Workshop

@thare et al.,

For the Geologic Mapping birds-of-a-feather session, we were thinking to have a very brief summary on the Winter School and related materials, point - within the discussion - towards what [PLANMAP](https://planmap.eu/) did and [GMAP](https://europlanet-gmap.eu/) is doing/plans beyond the school and maybe include a little hands-on on [Mappy](https://github.com/europlanet-gmap/mappy), Plus of course general open discussion focused on data/tools for geologic mapping, as well as opportunities for cooperation/exchange beyond PDW/PMW.

If anybody has additional wishes, feel free to reach out or, if they don’t need much preparation, spontaneously at the session and maybe following up either here or on Slack.
