Demystifying the Python packaging ecosystem

pyOpenSci released a new chapter in our packaging guide on build tools.
pyOpenSci is an inclusive and diverse community that runs peer review of scientific software.
We want to make it easier for scientists to get credit for the work invested into open source Python tools! In this recent packaging chapter we review the core tools including Hatch, Flit, PDM and Poetry and talk about the features of each tool.

The content in this chapter was community driven supported by two rounds of reviews from core package maintainers.
You can check it out here:

Stay tuned for more content on Python packaging as pyOpenSci develops its guide books.
