RFC 9: Move to Cloud Based Spice Server · DOI-USGS/ISIS3 · Discussion #5293 (github.com)

Key points:

  1. New spiceserver endpoint available
  2. This endpoint is hosted on a cloud platform, we encourage people to try to break it. It should be able to accept cluster jobs with thousands of spiceinit operations up to a limit, and would like to know what that limit is.
  3. Conversations on how to go about phasing out the old instance in favor of this one and conversing issues with the new service should go in the RFC.
